Counter types

• Countdown to date – the standard countdown to a specific set date. Can be used, for example as the countdown to Christmas
• Count from date – countdown from a certain date. For example, how much time has passed since the founding of Google Corporation.
• Countdown to weekday – сountdown to a specific time of the day of the week. This countdown will be updated the next day from the selected day of the week. This is a cyclical countdown. For example, can be used as the countdown until the weekly Friday party
• Timer – the timer is set for a specific time and is reset after a page refresh. Can be used to motivate users to stay on the page for a certain amount of time.
• Timer for each user – The timer will be set at a specific time for each specific user. As an example, it can be used to show a discount and hide it after the timer expires.

• Installation option 1: Find and install this plugin in the Plugins -> Add new section of your wp-admin
• Installation option 2: Download the zip file, then upload the plugin via the wp-admin in the Plugins -> Add new section. Or unzip the archive and upload the folder to the plugins directory /wp-content/plugins/ via ftp
• Press Activate when you have installed the plugin via dashboard or press Activate in the in the Plugins list
• Go to Counter Box section that will appear in your main menu on the left
• Click Add new to create your first countdown
• Setup your counter
• Click Save
• Copy and paste the shortcode, such as [Counter-Box id=1] to where you want the countdown to appear.
• If you want it to appear everywhere on your site, you can insert it for example in your header.php, like this: <?php echo do_shortcode('[Counter-Box id=1]');?>
• If you want to insert the shortcode into a widget, use this plugin
